Oxford Karate Academy
Oxford Karate Academy has been established in Oxford since 1974 and is recognised by the Japan Karate Federation Goju Kai as a registered dojo in Japan.
Paul Coleman holds a 7th Dan JKF Goju Kai and has been training in Japan since 1981. He has also been certified by the JKF Goju Kai as the holder of the title "Kyoshi", meaning teacher of teachers. His karate quest has so far taken him to over 20 countries and he has been a European Champion, a finalist in Japan, plus 2 times World Champion in the USA and once World Champion in Japan, the home of karate. Also an examiner for the JKF Goju Kai in Europe. The JKF is the government recognised body in Japan.
Classes are aimed at teaching traditional karate to children, with separate adult classes. Also classes are at varying levels of competence.

17:00 to 18:00 Juniors aged 6 to 11.
18:30 to 20:00 Adult all grades (then 30 minutes xtra for high grades)
Tuesday: Marston Scout Hall, William Street.
15:30 to 16:30 Juniors aged 6 to 11.
Wednesday: The United Reform Church, Collinwood Road, Risinghurst.
16:00 to 17:00 Juniors aged 6 to 11, white to red belt.
17:00 to 18:00 Juniors aged 6 to 11, green belt and above.
18:00 to 19:30 Adult all grades (then 60 minutes extra for high grades)
Thursday: The United Reform Church, Banbury Road, Summertown.
17:00 to 18:00 Juniors aged 6 to 11 all grades
18:00 to 19:00 Adults all grades.
Friday: Sandford On Thames Village Hall, Henley Road, Sandford On Thames.
16:00 to 17:00 Juniors aged 6 to 11, white to red belt.
17:00 to 18:00 Juniors aged 6 to 11, green belt and above.
18:00 to 19:00 Adult all grades (then 30 minutes xtra for high grades)
No contracts, just monthly payments.
