Traditional Shotokan Karate lead by Sensei Ian Gregory and his son Sensei Craig Gregory who has run the club since 1988. Focus on developing individuals around a proven syllabus that with weekly diligent work will take complete beginners through to Black Belt and beyond. Demanding training that works to everyone individual capabilities, but also a strong focus on effective techniques and strategies. Both Sensei's still regularly train with their Sensei, Dave Hazard a world renowned Instructor who is very heavily in demand throughout the UK for his teaching. He annually visits the dojo to conduct gradings which are stringent examinations to gain the rewards of recognition to each grade level.

A friendly approachable club. Lead instructor Ian Gregory has decades of experience practicing and teaching Shotokan Karate.
The classes are tailored to suit all ages/ fitness and abilities.
I joined Pagham Karate club 3 years ago after a break of over 30 years from the sport! . .. My only regret? That I didn't do it sooner! My confidence, agility, self discipline and fitness have improved considerably. My son joined not long after me and loves it, and he has had great success at the club competitions held every Xmas! Why not come and join us? You'll be glad you came along!
I am a student at this club & it is a very well run club that welcomes beginners & advanced, not one session is the same & I am always learning, I also do private lessons with sensei Ian as I know it is worth it.
