Taekwon-Do is the art of self defence that originated in Korea.
When it came to this country it was initially taught to the armed forces as an effective form of unarmed combat, but is now practised by millions of men, women and children worldwide.
Taekwon-Do focuses on using explosive kicking techniques to disable an attacker, but has a variety of powerful hand and blocking techniques for close range defence as well.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Penrith Tae Kwon Do:
Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30pm - 8pm
7 years old and upwards including adults
Taekwon-Do will benefit virtually anyone of any age, size or shape.
Learning to defend yourself is just the start, Taekwon-Do can also make you more confident, and fitter, increasing focus, power, inner strength and self discipline
