Pontypridd/Llantrisant Kyokushin Karate Clubs have been in existence since 1976 under the directorship of Shihan Alwyn Heath 6th Dan. A past British & Welsh International he has competed in World; European & International Knockdown Championships. Awarded RCT Coach of the year in 1996 & 2012, Finalist in Sport Wales Disabilty Coach of the Year 2011, included in one of only 12 people in the Welsh Karate Governing Body Ltd Role of Honour 2010, he is also a Director of the Welsh Karate Governing Body Ltd - the only Governing Body for Welsh Karate recognised by the Welsh Sports Council

Pontypridd train at Hawthorn Leisure Center/Community Centre, Fairfield Lane, Rhydyfelin every Sunday & Wednesday Kyokushin Karate for Kids & Adults:
5 yrs - 13 yrs 6.30 - 7.30 pm
Over 14's & Adults 7.30 - 9.30 pm
Llantrisant train at Llantrisant Leisure Centre, Southgate Park, Llantrisant every Tuesday & Thursday Kyokushin Karate for Kids & Adults:
Family Class: Juniors & Adults 5 yrs & above 6.30 - 7.30 pm
