Tang Soo Do is a Korean martial art that can trace it's roots back some 2000 years. Within it, hand to hand fighting techniques, self defence, weapons and forms are all taught.
Students who train within this style gain fitness, strength, flexibility and an all important knowledge of self defence in this sadly all too often aggressive world.
However, we also put great weight into teaching the student to become a 'better person', to respect those around them, to be humble about their abilities but also to have an indomitable spirit.
Ramsey and Upwood studio, located between Huntingdon and Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, has been teaching students of all ages and genders from the local area for over 20 years. It is also a proud member of the World Tang Soo Do Association, a world wide body with over 100,000 students.
It's instructor is Master Phil Wiskin, a 4th Dan master with over 24 years of martial arts experience and over 19 years of teaching. He is fully qualified to teach, is CRB cleared and First Aid certificated.
All ages of student are welcome, with the age span of current students ranging from 6 to 65. First lessons are free.
