Can't rate Rising Spirit Academy highly enough. Enrolled my 6 year old and his confidence and self esteem have improved immeasurably. Classes have the perfect mix of skill, discipline and fun.

Love the traditional aspect of it too, children are taught boundaries here and to be respectful - this has been lost in other so called martial art clubs I've seen in the area. Great value for money and love how the instructors are so supportive if your child has any issues. They can't do enough to help.

Thinking about enrolling myself as being part of this academy has really changed our lives. Totally recommended!

Overpriced for what is offered. Other classes provide more quality for a reasonable price.

I found the fees very off putting. Is this common?

How is it justifiable? I hope to find something more in line with normal past times.

We, the Fletcher family joined Rising Spirit Academy four months ago with the need to get back into shape and for self-defence purposes. The dual disciplines with array of weapons and family-based training where parents and kids can train together is what attracted us.

We found the venue easy to locate with ample parking, and a warm and friendly welcome from Mr Williams. Always professional, his style of training lends itself to be physically and mentally challenging whilst patient enthusiasm shines through, ensuring we get the best out of training with full enjoyment.

It’s also beneficial because classes are available four days a week and on the Leadership Programme to becoming black belts, we can train together for all four days.

Our personal development has evolved and we have established endurance, flexibility and muscular strength along with tons of confidence.

Since being with RSA, I have developed a sense of self respect and adopted a more positive outlook on life. Mr Williams is very understanding and patient with his students and gives 100% of his time and dedication. I would strongly recommend this academy to anyone who wants to look great and feel great about themselves as well as make new friends and build confidence.

Ive been going to the Rising Spirit Academy since June 2015 its the best academy to go to and its very good fun going there. everyone's nice there and always very welcoming to everyone. The equipment is very good and I can highly recommend this academy.

I highly recommend Rising Spirit Martial Arts Academy. It's not just a fun place to go it's a friendly and supportive atmosphere where you can learn the Korean Martial Arts at a pace that suits you.

There's a great age range. All are catered for. Im over 50 years old and study Korean Kickboxing. It's great for my health and fitness. Take that first step through the door and enter a new World. Like me you will wonder why you hadn't taken that step years ago. Give it a go

I am very much liking it. The teacher's really helpful and professional - but also friendly. All the moves you learn are valuable, help you get fit and help you blow off steam. The classes themselves are well structured, efficient, and they also teach you some discipline and respect. Definitely worth the money.

This is NOT a karate school. Ask what grade in karate the teacher holds?

You cannot call and ask about fees. Lacking transparency.

Sign contracts you cannot escape for a child's fees.

At The Rising Spirit Academy, Mr Williams teaches much more than just martial arts. The ethos of the classes is one of respect, discipline and consideration towards others. During sessions, he concentrates on body AND soul; he inspires and boosts up the confidence of his pupils. This attitude has helped my son a great deal, and, I am very grateful that he's a professional who always goes the extra mile as this is something that money cant buy. I'm sure that many parents know what I mean, and, I really do recommend The Rising Spirit Academy.
