This is a fantastic dojo.
Sensei Dean is the most amiable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable bad ass you'll ever meet.
There's a great 'feel' to Rokku Ryu too with social events like BBQ's and Christmas meals and Dean constantly running enthusiastic students to martial event.
There are no prerequisite levels of fitness or experience, just turn up and have a great time.
My whole family trains with Roku Ryu Jiu Jitsu in two different dojos. The kids (5 and 7) have amazing fun whilst learning how to protect themselves and about honor, integrity and trying your best.
This is a family oriented school of martial arts with no ego or machismo, but lots of support, encouragement and understanding of everybody's needs and abilities.
Whether a beginner or advanced you will enjoy and learn with Sensei Dean.
