We use the aikido, as taught by Ueshiba Sensei, and various karate styles which have been blended into a unique mix to form Ryusui-ryu. The name means ‘like flowing water’ and this is exactly the emphasis placed on the application of the styles techniques, strikes and covers.
Our aim is to develop self-control, confidence, discipline and non-violence through dedicated study. The emphasis is on relaxed, flowing movements. Open your mind and train your body.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Ryusui-ryu Martial Arts Association:
Adult classes; Thursday's 8:30pm to 10pm
Minimum age 14 years.
Beginners are always welcome, the practice will be challenging but fun also. Age or ability is no barrier
