My two daughters (8 & 11) love their Jiu Jitsu on Monday nights at St Mary's. The threat of missing training with Sensei Steve is one of the few threats that actually have any affect. Sensei ensures a fun and supportive environment where all kids can train in safety. Training starts/finishes with a few warm up/down games that the kids always look forward to. The lessons are age appropriate and nobody is asked to do anything they are not confident about. This is a great martial art for kids to learn and I hope my two keep going for a while yet.
Great for kids & adults alike

I've watched the kids classes & participated in the adult class & been very impressed with both. Sensei Steve has a great teaching style that is both engaging, fun & technically excellent. I would recommend his classes to anyone.

I've been training with Sensei Steve for around 4 months and am totally hooked. Ryuuseigun Dojo is small and friendly dojo with good 1:1 tuition from Steve. He has great knowledge of Danzan Ryu jujitsu and other martial arts and always explains the history and application of the techniques. Training is intensive but great fun. If you're interested in keeping fit and learning more about this amazing martial art with like minded people then come and join us.

I've Sensei Stephen Cooper a long time, I've seen him rise through the martial arts and this school is the culmination of that time.
He provides a great environment and a huge body of knowledge that will help any martial artist beginner or experienced to grow and develope in the martial arts.
Very practical for the modern world. good laugh at the same time, not to serious.

i have just started with Sensei Steve at the start of summer and he got me hooked on the first night by throwing me with a wrist lock on. this is a small school so you get good 1:1 with the coach and not get lost in the numbers like other schools. there seems to be a lot to learn in the Danzan Ryu Ju-jitsusystem and i am looking forward to getting on with that. i am planning to keep training with these guys to get my fitness up plus they're good fun. if you want to learn martial arts, self defense and fitness come join us.
Sensei Steve works well with the kids, his style of teaching is superb. He is patient with the kids and gives them lots of encouragement. The environment is fun, safe, lively and engaging.
