Sensei John Dalton started his training in 1987, starting in the style of Sankukai, in 1992 our Association changed and we then went over to Shito-Ryu style of Karate both styles are very similar and the transition was very smooth. Over the years Sensei has trained with many World renowned Instructors, Sensei's Barry Strannock, Tommy Morris, Vince Morris, David Coulter, Steven Morris and Ticky Donovan to name but a few. We grade three times per year, occasionally with our sister club St Michaels Karate Club from Salisbury, the gradings are usually in March, June and October. These are a way to show how you are progressing with your training as you are awarded the next belt up provided you pass the grading test. 2021 takes us into our seventeenth year at the Lindlar Hall and we are still going strong. We are still in the Covid-19 period but this club is a safe to be.
