We are a full time dojo in the Somerset/Dorset border countryside, offering classical and modern street based Martial Arts in the form of Aikikai Aikido and S.H.T.F. Combat.
We are full members of U.K. Aikido Shimbokukai and Aikido World Headquarters, The Aikikai Honbu, in Japan and receive our ranking from Doshu. We are also members of the British Aikido Board and receive our insurance and coach qualifications through them. We also offer a modern street defence Mixed Martial Art and fitness class based from experience gained through the military and various security roles, that follows the ideas and concepts of Krav Maga that we call S.H.T.F. Combat.
War Lewis is a former Royal Marine and Security Operative and has 33 years in the Martial Arts with 27 years in Aikido, of which he holds the grade of 4th Dan.
