We teach an updated form of Shorin Ryu karate, and with our policy of 'all moves must be functional and economical' means that you will learn a useful self defence system too.
Roger Sheldon (43 years training/teaching) and Tony Asquith (30 years training/teaching)
will make sure you understand all the kata bunkai and basics required to advance.
Our club has been in Riverhead over 40 years, we are a small group, not commercial, and do not do sport karate. The class is for adults (18+) only.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Shinseido Shorin Ryu Karate:
Adults (over 18 years only)
Classes are on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm.
First two weeks (4 lessons) free.
Beginners and existing practitioners welcome.
