Hezie Sensei is a enthusiastic, experienced Aikido instructor that is full of energy for both the children and adults class.
The academy has a wide range of student ability and age group so everyone is welcome. All the students are very welcoming and helpful.
Hezie Sensei's commitment to teaching in Lincoln is proven by his commute from Nottingham for every class, his passion for delivering top quality Aikido training is shown in both the caliber of his lessons and his effort to develop his own personal Aikido skill and coaching talent.

This is an excellent Aikido academy with first rate instructors, training students to a clear syllabus for each progressive belt. There is a welcoming and safe training environment to learn new life skills from the little dragons through to adults. Since starting training 5 years ago, I have gained confidence in all aspects of life, particularly the focus on staying calm in any situation, which has helped enormously with some of the more challenging aspects of my job!
Although I have been attending martial art classes for many years an unfortunate incident in the street resulted in me taking up Aikido over 8 years ago. However the first dojo I joined was not that friendly but I was still interested in this ancient art. Subsequently I found this dojo and for the last five years I have thoroughly enjoyed myself, gained self confidence, learnt new skills and made new friends. The teacher here is extremely knowledgeable and possesses real practical skill. He ensures that you progress every time you attend. The atmosphere on the mat is relaxed but discipline is maintained. There is a syllabus to follow and grades to achieve but no set time for tests as everyone learns at a different pace. Free parking is available in school car park. Parents and friends are able to watch from the side of the room. To learn Aikido all you need is an open mind and a willingness to learn by attending and training regularly. As a regular attendee I have become fitter and more flexible and exceeded my expectations. This could be for you too. Come and have a go. The first lesson is free.
