Shobukan is a friendly dojo, with a strong community spirit. The group have fun on (and off) the mat, with plenty of organised course trips and social outings. All of the instructors each have over ten years experience, and most have personal connections with Hombu instructors in Japan. It's also worth noting that Shobukan is the *only* club in the Cardiff and Vale area which is directly recognised (through its parent organisation) by the International Aikido Federation and the Aikikai Foundation (Tokyo).

Welcoming and friendly atmosphere all levels of ability catered for -Direct link to Aikido Foundation headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

Many of the Instructors and students have trained in Japan. The level of instruction is very high. All the Dan grades are registered with Aikido Foundation headquarters in Tokyo. A great place to start or try Aikido with a history dating back to the beginnings of Aikido in the UK.

Member of the British Aikido Federation.

First Class, established club that has a great history and community spirit.
