Traditional Japanese Karate-do, the Ditchling Dojo has been established in the Village since summer 2006 and is part of Renshinkan England under the leadership of Kyoshi Julia Turley.
The Dojo is led by Sensei Noel Silverman, 3 rd Dan, who has been teaching Karate since 2005. We train on Thursday nights from 6.30-8 pm. The Dojo is open to all ages from 7 years up. New students always welcome.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Shorinjiryu Renshinkan Karate:
Traditional Karate-do following well established syllabus containing Basic forms and patterns, kata, movement work, Kumite and weapons for Dan Grades only.
Suitable for all ages from 7 years onwards.
Training is on Thursday night, from 6.30-8 pm.
As part of Renshinkan England, students are able to train in other local Dojo's at no additional fee - Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Scaynes Hill, Danehill and Women only Session in Hassocks.
Monthly training fee payable in advance, no formal contract.
