Skegness Judokwai

Skegness Judokwai is a long running family friendly martial arts club which offers a chance to learn four different martial arts. Offering classes in Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Iaido and Kobudo, there is something for everyone to try especially with your first lesson being free.

Our head coach Malcolm would have us believe that he is in his late thirties, which would be amazing as he has been involved in the world of martial arts for more than 40 years. Malcolm is the club senior instructor a 6th Dan black Belt in Judo, 3rd Dan in Ju-Jitsu, and 1st Dan in Gojo-ru Jitsu. Even at his extreme age he still gets on the mats and takes a full and active part in the training of students of all ages and ranks.

Our other instructors include Mark 3rd Dan Judo with over 30 years of experience, Alan 1st Dan Judo, Shaun 1st Dan Judo, Alex 2nd Dan Ju-Jitsu & 1st Kyu Kobudo, Dave 1st Dan Ju-Jitsu, Ben 1st Dan Ju-Jitsu & 1st Dan Iaido.

Martial Art Styles

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Skegness Judokwai:

Programs & Class Schedule

Classes are held every Friday during school terms and sometimes in school summer holidays on Thursdays.

18:30 - 20:00 : Judo (Minimum age 5 years)
18:30 - 19:30 : Iaido (Minimum age 10 years)
18:30 - 19:45 : Kobudo (Dependent upon instructor availability, Minimum age 8 years)
20:00 - 21:30 : Ju-jitsu (Minimum age 8 years)

First lesson free. Annual licenses £12 junior (under 16s) £14 senior (16 and over).
