Systema is a complete martial art system that focusses on simple principles to develop a relaxed, free and mobile body and a mind that is calm, clear and aware. Training is approached as a form of play, aiming to improve health, increase versatility and encourage personal growth.
Our classes are divided into two parts:
Health - the first part of the class is devoted to health & wellbeing training, which is a key component of Systema martial arts training. It includes breath work, mobility exercises, strength & conditioning training.
Combat - the second part introduces the combat element of Systema. We work with punches, kicks, grappling, weapons & multiple attackers to help you develop ways of improving your responses in a variety of situations.
