The TISKA Staines Shotokan Karate club is run by resident 5th dan Instructor Mr A. Sebley.
The Staines club offers several lessons on Friday evenings to cater for all grades, from beginner to black belt.

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at TISKA Staines Shotokan Karate Club:
Friday Evenings - Matthew Arnold Sports Centre
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm : Beginners
6:00 pm - 6:45 pm : 10th Kyu to 7th Kyu
6:45 pm - 7:30 pm : 6th Kyu & above
Classes are for children and adults combined, so parents can train alongside their children.
In addition to the above classes, Gradings are held regularly throughout the year, where students take an exam to achieve their next grade. For many young students this promotes self-confidence and a sense of achievement and motivation.
Additionally, students may participate in courses run by our Chief Instructor Shihan Sahota and take part in an annual TISKA National Competition, giving students the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have learnt and developed through their training.
NEW beginners’ classes are scheduled throughout the year and we take children from the age of 4 and over. All new starters can have 3 FREE INTRODUCTORY CLASSES. Both children and adults are welcome.
