I'm in my fourth year training at Team Phoenix and I couldn't recommend it any higher. I'd give it 10 stars if there was the option. Not only have I had first class training in Muay Thai and Filipino Kali from the lead instructors in both class and private lessons, there's also fantastic support and encouragement from the higher graded members. You can learn something from everyone and there's no egos in sight. Private lessons are available not only in Muay Thai and Kali, but also Silat, Muay Boran, Krabi Krabong, Boxing, and Jun Fan/Jeet Kune Do.
Team Phoenix has improved my confidence (I've stepped in the ring at a Muay Thai interclub - something I never imagined doing previously) and my fitness to levels I've never had before and I'm in my mid-30s!
I have also had the opportunity to travel to Thailand with other members to further study Filipino Martial arts in a week long camp which was a life changing experience in itself.
