A traditional Japanese martial art, incorporating a wide range of effective self defence techniques including throws, joint locks and pins. Aikido also teaches coordination, relaxation and awareness. Most importantly Aikido is fun for all ages. No previous experience required.
Beginners are welcome, so please come and visit any of our classes to determine if Aikido is right for you!
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Thornbury Aikido Club:
Juniors: Fridays 7pm - 8pm
Minimum age 7 year
Seniors: Fridays 7pm - 9pm
