Uses pressure tactics to gain members. Focused on money. I have spent a lot of time in and at martial arts clubs and this is the worst I’ve seen. This is a franchise not a club.

I am very pleased I selected Total Marial Arts for my son. He has mild autism and struggled with his focus and social interaction. When we 1st started, he was unable to join a class, as he was easily distracted and also distracting to the other Students. TMA did not give up on him though and worked with him on a 1 to 1 basis for a few months, with the intention of getting him into classes. What a fantastic job they did, he has now been doing classes twice a week for a few months, his confidence has improved and he even looks people in the eye now. To top it off, he finally completed a professional tick (belt) test today, which at the start would never of happened.

TMA do not just teach martial arts, they concentrate on developing a well balanced individual for our community and also teach healthy living/eating. Excellent place and I can't wait to start my younger children.

I have to say that if it's the cheapest you're looking for then this is not the place for you. However, if you are looking for the best possible value for money then don't delay in phoning their booking line.

From the get-go you get a professional and personal service. A private 1 on 1 introduction followed by an informative interview before starting classes. My son was nervous at first but the instructors had him laughing and smiling straight away and eager to get going.

I can't explain all the aspects of the children's program so you will have to experience it for yourself but let me tell you that this is far more than just a kick and punch school. These guys really know how to get the best from your child. They cover all sorts of life skills, especially stranger danger and self defence. My son comes home after the Master Instructor has told him to do something and he reacts in such a positive way, such as clearing his room or being kind to his little sister.

What I really like is when they mix things up and throw something un-expected in from time to time like the Movie night for the kids. Free! Great idea.

Total martial arts is the best academy I have found in Swindon friendliest people you will ever find the instructors are brilliant they know what they are doing fantastic lesson's and they are really friendly students aren't afraid to ask quiestion about any of the tecnquies that are coverd in the lesson's all student's helps each other if someome gets stuck on something and no one is left out and everyone feels welcome all the assistant's help with lesson's they are very well skilled in there chosen art if someone is struggling they will help that person out I would recommend this academy to anybody that is interested in doing martial arts the martial arts that are coverd at total martial arts are fantastic

I have been training with TMA for around 4 years. The instructors are knowledgeable and patient and the staff are all professional. I thoroughly recommend TMA for anyone looking to increase their fitness and learn self defense skills.

This use to be a good place for your child if you were looking for some extra activity to get your child involved in. Unfortunately it appears that the business has now grown to the point where it is no longer about the kids and all about the money. People teaching children about respect and integrity really ought to have some themselves. If these things are important to you then seriously consider if this is the type of place you would want your child to be. I am appalled as a parent by the shameless greed and nonprofessional mannor of the club's management.

I enjoy all the classes at TMA as does my son and occasionally even my partner. if you want to train to fight, for fitness or for fun TMA is a great place to start!
