Reviews of Valley Martial Arts

I started training with Valley Martial arts 15 months ago with my then 4 year old son. The facilities that you train in are amongst the best in the country. I have trained at the wolfs lair when that was going and this is easily on a par with that. The instructors are very knowledgeable and a great with kids. My son looks up to them and holds them in very high regard. Graham the chief instructor is a fantastic role model that leads by example. He is a highly skilled martial artist and is blessed with being a great teacher too. The syllabus is good and mixes all the martial arts in, so that your getting the best of all the styles. For me as an adult that has trained in other martial arts, I have really enjoyed it too. I have got fitter and my son and I have a bond through doing martial arts together, as we are both on the same journey to getting a black belt. Grading are every three months which allows my son to have achievable goals that he's constantly working towards. Worthy of note is the life skills talks that take place at the end of every session. These have a big impact on the kids and I have been blown away at how these have helped my son to make the right decisions. At five years old he walked straight up to his Rugby coach who was 6 foot plus and 20 stone. Stuck his hand out, looked him in the eye and said "Hi my names *****, nice to meet you". The classes are worth every penny in my opinion.

My son only started with valley martial arts 3 months ago and within this time he has physically and emotionally gone from strength to strength. His confidence in class has soared and this has reflected both at home and at school. The life skills training runs throughout the classes with key messages to promote his health, wellbeing and how to be respectful to other others. These skills I am sure he will take through life! The instructors are positive, patience and highly skilled at bringing out the best in your child and are positive role models. I can not recommend VMA enough! It is the best thing we have ever done - to watch our son grow and gain new skills is just a pleasure to watch. Thank you Graham.

My 8yr old son attends and the positive attitude and friendly atmosphere has given him a great focus and drive. Instructors take the time to welcome all and offer individual attention to all students.

The level of teaching at Valley is amazing!!!

The kids classes are always fun and fast paced and Graham knows exactly how to get the best out of the younger students. The techniques and life skills they teach in class will prove to be invaluable to the kids as they grow up.

The adult classes of which I've been a part of for over 3 years now combine top level martial arts training and techniques alongside fitness and motivation. It has proved to be life changing since I started. I can't recommend Valley Martial Arts enough.
