At Village Martial Arts we teach traditional karate with the added emphasis on making your karate as effective as necessary in the real world. We teach you how to use your karate in every day situations and in extreme situations also. We show you how to deal with stress response and the use of pressure points to ensure you are as efffective as you need to be.
We teach all ages from 5 to 95 so there really is no limit on when you can start to gain the skills you need. Our childrens classes are Fun an Informative. We do not endlessly repeat drills but instead teach children at the rate which they can absorb the information and interperse the training with Martial arts based games so we can learn through play as well as structured class exercises.
We also run a fitness class based on movements from the marial arts and follow the HIIT High Intensity Interval Training programs to maximise the effect of our fitness workouts
