Witchford Shotokan Karate Club is a friendly, outgoing and supportive group, run by instructor Sensei Ian Cheale (Nidan/2nd dan). Sensei Cheale has been training and studying Shotokan Karate for over 9 years.
Witchford Shotokan Karate Club is part of the Shotokan Karate Alliance International (SKAI) and SKAI England. SKAI England's main Hombu is made up of three dojo's - Potton, Sandy and Clifton, with Sensei Richard Scoot (Godan/5th dan) as Chief Instructor.
SKAI was founded by Shinji Akita Shihan (Rokudan/6th dan). SKAI is a non-political organisation which is open to all, regardless of gender, age, nationality or race. It is an alliance of like minded groups and organisations, existing to promote high standards in traditional Shotokan Karate.
