Reviews of NEST TEESSIDE (North East Schools of Taekwondo)

Both myself and my 7 year old son attend regularly, TaekwonDo and NEST has helped to build a stronger relationship between my son and I, as well as boosted our confidence immensely. My level of fitness has improved drastically as a result of the training and encouragement NEST provides. Since joining NEST I've rekindled my drive to progress myself, not just physically but mentally as well; improving my confidence has resulted in my return to education.

The instructor has a friendly and respectful attitude and is a great inspiration to all his students, he provides the encouragement each student needs to progress and achieve their goals. He is an excellent teacher, keeping his knowledge and teaching techniques up to date so that he can provide the best experience possible. He is great with children and adapts his teaching style to match their needs.

NEST has helped me to develop my fitness, lose weight and gain the confidence to succeed in life. I would highly recommend NEST to all, no matter what your background is!

The instructor of the class is very up to date with the syllabus of ITF Taekwon-do as he regularly attends the UKTA instructor courses as well as national and international courses, therefore allowing him to keep the class as up to date with the syllabus as possible. The class is a nice and relaxed environment where people are encouraged to not be shy. After taking part in this class for nearly 2 years I have become a more confident with myself and I have been less stressed with my college work. Another thing is if you are looking to compete then NEST will get you to the top and even to represent ITF England if you are wanting to compete on a national or international level. Like for example I have won the Welsh, Scottish, English and British Titles during my time with NEST and now I am going to be training with the ITF England squad training. I would highly recommend this club to anyone who wishes to join this club wither it is to become healthier, to lose weight, to learn self defence and discipline or just to learn a martial art!
