Aikido is a traditional Japanese martial art. Drawing influence from the days of feudal Japan and the samurai, Aikido includes a full range of strikes, throws and pins against an armed (stick, sword and knife) or unarmed attacker. Aikido is so effective it is used to train the Tokyo Riot Police.
Founded under the late Sensei Bernard Harding (6th Dan), Aikido Cardiff: Aikido Gakko Ueshiba has been teaching a traditional style of Aikido for over 30 years.
