This club is true to the original spirit of karate. Teaching focuses on techniques handed down through a clear line of instruction, leading back to the founder of Shotokan karate and remains true to the origins of the art. Etiquette and discipline are upheld within a relaxed and fun environment. As you would expect, instruction is led at a pace that will suit the individual whilst in a small group setting. A good place to learn, whether exploring karate as a new student or focused on training for a black belt.
As a late starter to karate (mid forties!), I find this weekly session a worthwhile activity as it combines a disciplined yet enjoyable way to practice martial arts in a relaxed and friendly environment. Patrick, the instructor is well qualified and committed to high standards of technique.
