This school was a fantastic step up from my already experienced past in martial arts. It gives you all the effort you put into it in return, without a shadow of a doubt. If you want to train, then they want to train with you.

Great Place to Learn Martial Arts & Keep Fit

The facilities are second to none with a dojo that has fully matted floors, hanging punch bags, multiple sets of pads, skipping ropes and gloves. Mike (Instructor) and his senior black belts are very good at what they do and have a teaching style which is easy to grasp for beginners. I joined recently as a 28 year old beginner and the atmosphere is very welcoming and the instructors have a lot of patience whilst teaching techniques. There is also a focus on fitness which I really enjoy and it's not just standing in a line practising punching and kicking techniques (there is some obviously), it's put into use using pads and bags. Its a modern style of martial arts aimed at teaching self defence in the modern world which is what attracted me to the club.

My son has trained at SEF Karate for over two years. He loves the sessions. The emphasis is on hard work, personal development and building confidence. The quality of teaching is outstanding, and they have a lot of fun.

Brilliant club! Amazing techniques and very well taught, making it easy to pick up and maybe use if needed to. Great people and atmosphere to learn an amazing martial art. A great way to make new friends and have fun. First lesson free!

Great place to train and learn Martial Arts. Made me feel relaxed and at ease the teaching was first class would recommend any one interested in learning Martial arts and Self Defence come along and join in first lesson was free.
A great place to work hard, learn and have fun. I have trained there for years and have happily watched the club grow and develop year by year. Every one is friendly and so it's hard to not get on with them all. Thoroughly recommended
