Jissen Ryu Martial Arts teaches Ju Jitsu as part of our program. Ours is a modern Ju Jitsu school, but we have old style values. As well as Ju Jitsu our students learn how to link other arts such as combat wing chun, Arnis, Kyusho Jitsu and make it a all round street defence.
Not only do we teach a combat ready form of Ju Jitsu but we are also the only club in Staffordshire to be part of the World Bujutsu Federation, the WBF, this allows our students to take part in national and international championships. We are also part of the Traditional Martial Arts Association and its international following which has seen students and instructors travelling to Dallas to take part in one of the largest Kempo gatherings in the world.
Our chief instructor Adam Illidge has 30+ years in Martial arts and as well as Ju Jitsu he is also a 4th dan in Karate Jutsu, 1st dan Tae Kwon Do and an instructor in Arnis, kyusho jitsu, kick boxing and 7th dan Bu Jutsu. Adam has been instructing for 20+ years and has many coaching and instruction certifications in martial arts, anatomy and physiology and fitness.
