“Gio has been a true inspiration to me both as a friend and as an instructor. I have trained in many different styles over the years including Boxing (professional level), Kick Boxing, BJJ, Tai Chi, Kung Fu and Taekwondo. Some I have found effective, some a waste of time but very pretty. Gio has developed what I consider to be the most effective form of self defence / martial art out there. He moulded me and made me 100% more effective and rounded. His intelligence, vast experience, dedicated and tailored way of teaching can accommodate the most placid house wife or child looking for some self defence lessons or confidence, well being and fitness to professional fighters and doormen alike.
As a man he is an man amongst men with true warrior code and honour yet a gentleman and a scholar. A winning combo!!

I have been tyraining in Streetwise Combat Karate since 1999. I have learnt effective self defence skills and a humane philosophy. I can highly recommend the Streetwise Fighting Systems programmes to anybody looking to make healthy changes to their life style.
