Akashi Shotokan Karate Club
Akashi Shotokan was established in August 2011 by Glenn Riley Sensei (5th Dan). Glenn is a former British Champion, a Kenshusei graduate, and is also a full time Karate Instructor. Akashi Shotokan Karate Association has become one of the largest Karate clubs in West Yorkshire, with over 160 members. We pride ourselves on the highest standards, and have three Dojo in the Leeds area. Students from other clubs are always welcome, and we have regular beginners classes running throughout the year.

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Akashi Shotokan Karate Club:
Programs & Class Schedule
below are a list of classes.
Monday: 4.15 pm-5.00 pm (Tigers class, 4-6 years)
Monday: 5.00 pm-6.00 pm 7 years upwards including Adults (no upper age limit)
Tuesday: 7.00 pm-8.00 pm (all grades class)
Wednesday: 5.00 pm-6.00 pm (Children class) Cookridge Hall Health and fitness club (LS17)
Thursday: 6.00 pm-7.00 pm (all grades) Kumite class
Saturday: 1.00 pm-2.30 pm (all grades) Kata class
2.30 pm-3.00 pm (black and brown belt only)
