We teach kids and adults karate skills that they will retain for a lifetime. These skills are practical, simple & effective. These skills are focused on self defence and self protection. The key focus of the club is the practical application of karate using techniques from kata. This process is called Bunkai.
The training and learning process are challenging yet fun and contribute towards the practitioner's welfare and health i.e. self esteem, confidence, fitness, core strength and stamina.
The club is run by a team of dedicated karate practitioners Ally Whytock 5th Dan and Karen Whytock 2nd Dan. Both are British Red Cross First Aid certified, have Disclosures and have attended the Safeguarding and Protecting Children & Children 1st:In Safe Hands courses.
