Opened in 1990 the Newark Ninjutsu dojo of the BBD is run by 4 black belts with a combined experience of more than 80 years in Ninjutsu, self defence, karate, CQB and other martial systems. It teaches traditional ninjutsu including the peripheral skills such as water training,field craft and healing.
Training is for both male and female at students as young as 10 can train, with juniors training on Sunday mornings and seniors both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings with periodic extesions to sessions and national 1-day seminars.All students are encouraged to train regularly and there is an official grading syllabus from 9th kyu to 1st kyu.
We have a great dojo facility with ample free parking, 3 fields and the river Trent surrounding us. Ideal Ninja territory and for much of the year we train outdoors as they would have centuries ago.
