Clitheroe Freestyle Ju-jitsu (Inc. Lankin-Fa Ju-jitsu) is the towns' longest running Martial Arts club (est. 1984)! The style is heavily based in real self-defence, but it is not a sport! The style also incorporates techniques from Karate-Jutsu for Senior members. You do not have to be fit and this style caters for all ages from 6+.
Run by Sensei's Dave Heaton and Lee Watson, both are 3rd Dan instructors with over 60 years experience between them. They both studied under the systems creator, Prof. William Rankin (10th Dan) for many years.
All are welcome and 1st lesson is free.

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Clitheroe Freestyle Ju-Jitsu (Inc. Lankin-Fa Ju-Jitsu):
- Jiu-Jitsu (Jujutsu/Jujitsu)
Programs & Class Schedule
Junior classes are held on Tuesdays from 6.55 pm to 8 pm. We accepted children from the age of 6 upwards.
Adult classes are held alongside the Junior class from 6.55 pm till 8.45 pm, so parents can join in with their children (Both groups are kept separate).
Generally the accepting age is 16, however we do take in children from 14 who are of adult size.
Any prospective student should wear loose clothing if they have not already acquired a Gi (Uniform) and we welcome experienced martial artists too.
1st lesson is free. Lesson Fee is £4 regardless of Junior or Senior class.
After a few lessons, new students will be required to apply for Membership (which includes insurance) for £30 for the first year (£25 per year thereafter).
We do supply Gi's. Junior Gi's are from £15 and Seniors are from £25.
We do not ask anyone to sign any binding contract. No Standing Orders or Direct Debits are required. Our school is purely pay-as-you-go!!
