Kuk Sool Won of Westhill is a family run martial arts club that promotes martial arts excellence and family values in a fun relaxed setting.
Each of our instructors have nearly 20 years of experience and have helped promote Kuk Sool Won in the North East.
We hold ClubCAP status with Aberdeenshire Council.
We pride ourselves on our professional, fun, energised and practical classes all while giving confidence and self discipline through the practice of traditional Korean martial arts.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Kuk Sool Won of Westhill:
Wednesday 18:00-18:45 All ranks and ages
Saturday
09:30-10:15 little Dragons
For kids age 4-8.
Our specifically developed curriculum is designed to teach life skills and basic motor skills through the fun practice of martial arts.
All our classes will keep your child physically active and engaged while teaching them the importance of good behaviour.
10:30-11:15 Wee Warriors
From ages 8-13, a fun, friendly class that will help children to do far more than kick and punch!
In our Wee Warriors class we further develop basic motor skills of each student as well as learning traditional martial arts techniques that date back thousands of years using our unique teaching methods.
Martial arts have been proven to not only instill confidence and self belief but also has been shown to benefit school and home life as well as physical conditioning.
11:30-12:30 Adults and Youths
For all ages and abilities from age 14.
Our youth and adult classes will take you on a journey of discovery through 5000 years of Korean martial arts history!
Each student will add an new and dynamic dimension to their lives, using mind, body and spirit learning ancient martial arts techniques as well as traditional weapons, body conditioning and acrobatics to name a few.
All in a fun, progressive and encouraging setting.
