Gary Rowley
Is the head instructor at the Phraya Pichai Camp Bristol Thai Boxing and the director of BAM martial arts. BAM is an acronym for 'By Any Means'
The systems and arts taught are for self defence and sport but as the name implys, students are taught to use whatever means necessary to win either in the ring or on the street.
His love for martial arts started off at a young age like many, who watched the films of Bruce Lee , Van Damme and Steven Segal.
When he was 12 he joined the local Judo Club and took part in various tournaments.
When he was 16 he moved to Malaga, Spain and studied under Michael Andaluz who is a second generation instructor in Jeet Kune Do, under the legendary Guro Dan Inosanto.
Since that time Gary has trained with various instructors absorbing various practices to hone his martial arts skills and not get stuck with in the age old battle of 'my system is the best'
