SAMA HAS NO CLASSES IN WORTHING

Dec 18 2024 by SAMA THE BEST (Familiar with the School , No Personal Experience at this school)

Quality of Instruction:
Excellent

SAMA DOES NOT TEACH OR RUN CLASSES IN WORTHING. The instructors who ran our SAMA clubs in Worthing, LEFT SAMA in AUGUST 2023 and started their own karate clubs under a different name. Since then, (nearly a year and a half ago) SAMA has not run any classes in Worthing. So, the bad comment and 1 star, that was put on this DECEMBER 2024 from the "Grinch", is clearly someone who is simply out for their own nasty benefit to disrespect our good name.

Take a look at SAMA, the largest most professional and successful martial arts group in the SOUTH and because of that. we are not liked by other groups.

Top professional club

SAMA has been teaching children for over 40 years. Its the largest in the South of England, probably in the UK. Its membership book students receives, states the time between grades that are laid down by traditional karate standards. So can't understand why some say students are getting their belts to soon. From some of the comments I expect these are people from other clubs jealous of the success of SAMA. Unlike many other clubs that charge hefty monthly direct debit and contract schemes SAMA have for children a £5 pay as you train payment scheme. Success speaks for itself.

Chain to take your money - check instructors qualifications! (DBS)

Designed to fleece you. Tried them and went to another club when they refused to show me instructors DBS certificates. You're not teaching my kids unless I know you are safe.

Having been spoken to like poop by a lead instructor, I was told my children weren't welcome back. I complained to head office who equally have zero customer service skills. I would not recommend them as if anything goes wrong, they do absolutely nothing

Its success speaks for itself!!

If SAMA was such a bad run club, then I would like to ask why is it then, the largest and the most successful martial art group in the South of England. Are these people saying all us parents of the 10, 000 students who train with SAMA every week are stupid in that we throw away our hard earned money for bad instruction. Okay I agree, not everything in life suits everybody, but if you saw a resturuant that was full, while the one next door was empty, which one would you go into. Clearly the one thats full as they must be doing something right. So clearly the success of SAMA with its 40 years life span of teaching martial arts in the South with 10, 000 students training weekly speaks for itself!!

Money for nothing and the grades for free

I took my son to Sama and thought he was doing so well and learning so quickly. We moved to another area and started using a local club. I was actually embarrassed at how little my son knew. He didn't even know the basics. They had basically given belts away to him for nothing. I felt it was to make us think he had achieved so much is such a short time and they must be good. I couldn't have been more wrong.

He haa since come along in leaps and bounds in his new club and what a difference.

This is NOT karate

As an experienced martial artist with two young sons. I wanted to send them to a club to learn karate and not from me. I tried SAMA karate. What a disappointment. The standard of teaching is very poor with hardly any elements of karate involved. Grades were taken at a very quick rate and unfortunately the students thought they were improving when in fact they really hadn't passed the beginner stages.

I then took them along to another club in Brighton and boy what a difference. Good instruction, no "money grabbing techniques" like grading every few weeks. etc. and my boys have progressed very well. SAMA? give them a miss or you'll be giving them a lot of money for nothing.

I have been involved with Sama karate for over 25 years, in fact three generations myself, my daughter, my grandaughter and my son have all been taught by fully qualified professional instructors to a very high standard and i would thoroughly recommend this organisation.

My children have trained with sama for over 10 years. It is a fun, friendly safe environment for kids to learn the art of karate, kickboxing and tai chi chuan Kung fu. They have full time instructors that are always professional. There is a clear wealth of knowledge and an obvious passion for the art!

The Japs would have a fit if they could see how watered down karate had become.
