TISKA Surbiton Shotokan Karate School provides karate lessons for everyone aged 4-65. The school caters for all levels from beginners up to 4th Dan Black Belts. Children and adults train together, making it ideal for family participation.

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at TISKA Surbiton Shotokan Karate School:
Sunday Mornings - Tolworth Recreation Centre
8:30 am - 9:15 am: 3rd Kyu & above
9:15 am - 10:00 am: 10th Kyu to 4th Kyu
10:00 am - 10:30 am: Beginners
Classes are for children and adults combined, so parents can train alongside their children.
In addition to the above classes, Gradings are held regularly throughout the year, where students take an exam to achieve their next grade. For many young students this promotes self-confidence and a sense of achievement and motivation.
Additionally, students may participate in courses run by our Chief Instructor Shihan Sahota and take part in an annual TISKA National Competition, giving students the opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have learnt and developed through their training.
NEW beginners’ classes are scheduled throughout the year and we take children from the age of 4 and over. All new starters can have 3 FREE INTRODUCTORY CLASSES. Both children and adults are welcome.
