Iaijutsu - The Art of Drawing the Japanese sword (katana).

The style of Iaijutsu is Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu which dates back to the 17th century.
The training involves:
Kumitachi (paired) sword training
Individual (solo) form practice
Paired sword drills
You will also learn about the samurai, aspects of Japanese culture as well as developing self control. You don't need to be an athlete but basic fitness would be an advantage.
Self Defence - practical, realistic and based on learning principles distilled from many years of martial arts practice. But this is not a martial art! This is simple and straightforward self defence you can learn in a very short time.
Fully qualified: Iaijutsu black belt 3rd dan; Karatejutsu 2nd dan; BTEC 3 Self Defence Trainer.
