A not-for-profit, fully constituted club, with instructors & coaches giving their time for free. Proceeds go into the school to benefit members.
Instructors hold genuine ITF qualifications, having graded under ITF Grand Masters including First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha. We never grade our own students to black belt, they all pass external ITF gradings under a panel of ITF Grand Masters . The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Wirral UKTA Taekwon-do School:
Programs & Class Schedule
Monday: 5:15 – 6:30 PM
Tuesday: 6:15 – 8:30 PM
Wednesday: 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Thursday: 6:15 – 8:30 PM
Friday: Closed
Saturday: 10:15 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday: 9:30 – 11:30 AM
Payment is by monthly membership, all prices are on the website, you are not tied into a contract, payments can be cancelled at any time.
We hold classes at our purpose built martial arts facility in central Wirral, for adults and children.
Wirral UKTA school has been running since 1995 and holds Sport England 'Clubmark' accreditation for ethical standards in coaching and club management. Our senior instructor was previously awarded UK Instructor of the Year award by Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha.
All our instructors hold ITF qualifications, we don't just 'do ITF style' but are part of the ITF. Our senior instructor is a qualified ITF International Instructor & examiner (recognised under ITF plaque number 7235) however, we are proud to tell you that we have never graded any students to black belt. They have all passed external ITF grading examinations under 9th Dan ITF Grandmasters at open, public gradings for all to see their standards.
We are affiliated the BTC (British Taekwon-Do Council) which is the Sport England recognised NGB for Taekwon-do in England. Instructors are fully insured, CRB/ DBS cleared, and trained in first aid and safeguarding.
